1. Scope and data we collect

This policy applies to personal data processed through our website, booking and package workflows, support channels, and account features.

Depending on your use of the platform, we may process:

  • Account details such as name, email, phone, and profile information.
  • Package and booking data, including requests, schedules, and status updates.
  • Payment-related records required for transactions and reconciliation.
  • Technical data such as device, browser, IP logs, and usage events.

We only collect data that is relevant to account creation, trip arrangements, support, platform security, and legal obligations.

2. How we use personal data

  • To create and manage user and safari operator accounts.
  • To facilitate bookings, communication, and trip arrangements.
  • To provide support, resolve disputes, and maintain package quality.
  • To improve platform security, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
  • To provide operators with first-party, aggregate statistics about package and profile impressions, views, clicks, quote requests, and page engagement.

3. Legal basis and compliance

Our processing is based on contractual necessity, consent where required, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests in running a secure and reliable platform.

We align our processing approach with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and applicable regulations and guidance issued by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).

4. Data sharing, retention and security

We share personal data only when necessary for trip fulfilment, payment processing, legal compliance, or support operations with trusted travel providers under confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell personal data.

For operator analytics, we record package and profile activity with a random identifier kept in your browser tab's session storage. Analytics events do not include your name, email address, or precise location. We do not use these events to build cross-session visitor profiles.

We do not collect visitor country or use a third-party geolocation service for these analytics.

We retain data only for the period required to fulfil stated purposes, comply with the law, and handle disputes or audits.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

Subject to applicable law, you may request:
