Booking Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Safari Marketplace. By using our platform, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any bookings or transactions on the website.
- General Overview
1.1 Safari Marketplace is a multi-vendor platform where safari tour operators list and sell their services. We facilitate the booking process but do not operate any tours directly.
1.2 By using this platform, you agree that Safari Marketplace is not responsible for the quality or fulfillment of services provided by third-party operators.
1.3 These terms may be updated from time to time, and continued use of the platform after any updates constitutes acceptance of the changes.
- Booking Policy
2.1 All bookings made through Safari Marketplace are subject to availability and vendor confirmation. Once a booking is confirmed, an email will be sent to you with all relevant details, including tour dates, itinerary, and payment confirmation. Some bookings do not require confirmation before payment, however, we will contact you after payment to acknowledge booking and funds received.
2.2 Vendors are responsible for providing accurate descriptions of their services, including the pricing, itinerary, and what is included/excluded from the package.
2.3 You must ensure that all personal information provided during booking is accurate, including identification details, dietary requirements, and medical conditions.
- Payment Policy
3.1 Payment for services must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise stated by the vendor. Or with option of deposit
3.2 Safari Marketplace uses secure payment gateways to facilitate transactions. If in doubt about our banking details, please email us for confirmation. Please note that we will never email you banking details and request payment. The banking details will be presented to you only after you placed the order.
3.3 All prices listed on the platform are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise indicated.
- Cancellation Policy
4.1 Cancellations initiated by the customer will be subject to the vendor’s individual cancellation policy, which will be outlined in their service description.
4.2 In general, cancellation requests must be made in writing via email. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the following guidelines.
- Cancellations 90+ days before the safari: Full 70% of total booking amount.
- Cancellations 60-89 days before the safari: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
- Cancellations less than 60 days before the safari: No refund.
4.3 If a vendor cancels your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, political instability, or lack of participants, they will offer either a refund or an alternative date. Safari Marketplace is not responsible for any vendor cancellations or changes.
- Refund Policy
5.1 Refund requests must be made in writing via email and will only be considered if they meet the terms outlined in the vendor’s cancellation policy.
5.2 If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 14 business days. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.
5.3 Safari Marketplace reserves the right to deduct any processing fees or non-refundable deposits before issuing the final refund.
- Changes and Modifications
6.1 Any requests for changes or modifications to your booking (such as changing tour dates or upgrading services) must be made directly with the vendor and order be updated on platform.
6.2 Changes may be subject to additional fees, depending on the vendor’s policies.
- Liability
7.1 Safari Marketplace is not liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or inconveniences that occur during or as a result of your safari tour. All liabilities and risks lie with the individual vendors.
7.2 Safari Marketplace is not responsible for vendor non-performance or failure to provide services as described. Any disputes must be handled between you and the vendor.
- Travel Insurance
8.1 It is highly recommended that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, lost baggage, and personal liability.
8.2 Safari Marketplace is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of insurance or inadequate coverage.
- Dispute Resolution
9.1 If a dispute arises between you and a vendor, Safari Marketplace may assist with mediation but is not obligated to resolve the issue.
9.2 All disputes are to be settled according to the terms provided by the vendor.
- Governing Law
10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of [Botswana]. Any legal disputes will be resolved within the jurisdiction of [Botswana] courts.
By using our platform and booking a safari through Safari Marketplace, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, and you agree to be bound by them.
Partner Registration

Thank you for choosing to list your safari tours on Safari Marketplace. By registering as a vendor and listing your services, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before listing any products or services on our platform.
1. Vendor /Partner Registration
1.1 To become a a partner on Safari Marketplace, you must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. This includes your business name, contact details, tax information, and any other necessary credentials.
1.2 You agree to update your account and business details promptly in case of any changes.
1.3 We reserve the right to approve, reject, or terminate vendor accounts if they fail to meet our standards of quality, legality, or customer service.
2. Service Listing
2.1 Vendors are responsible for providing detailed and accurate descriptions of their safari tours and services. This includes pricing, itineraries, and inclusions/exclusions. All contact information should be entered only where required.
2.2 All photos, videos, and content uploaded must be original high quality and properly licensed. Flyers, posters, banners or any other phots with text are not allowed. You are responsible for ensuring that all content complies with copyright and intellectual property laws.
2.3 Tour Operator is responsible for keeping their listings up-to-date, including availability, pricing, and any changes to the itinerary. Inaccurate listings may result in penalties or removal from the platform.
3. Booking and Payments
3.1 Safari Marketplace processes payments on behalf of vendors through our secure payment gateway. (Electronic Bank Transfer or Card payments). Once a booking is confirmed, payments will be transferred to your designated account after deducting the platform’s commission or fees. Please note that deposit will be payable 5 days after we receive payment. The balance is payable only after the tour is no-longer refundable. This is because we are liable for customer refund, incase customer cancels the booking.
3.2 Partners must not instruct customers to make payments outside of the platform (for booking make on platform) or misrepresent the payment terms. Doing so will result in immediate suspension of your vendor account and removal from platform.
3.3 Payment cycles and fees for payouts will be outlined on the subscription package.
4. Partner Fees and Commissions
4.1 By listing your safari tours on Safari Marketplace, you agree to pay the applicable platform fee.
4.2 Safari Marketplace reserves the right to adjust its platform, commission and advertising rates and will notify you of any changes at least 30 days in advance.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 As a vendor, you must clearly specify your cancellation and refund policy for each listing.
5.2 If a customer cancels a booking in accordance with our policy, we will process the refund and retain the deposit as specified in the booking terms.
5.3 If you need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather conditions or emergencies), you must notify the customer promptly and offer either an alternative date or instruct us to give refund.
5.4 Repeated cancellations or failure to uphold the terms of your service may result in penalties or removal from the platform.
6. Service Delivery
6.1 Vendors are solely responsible for delivering the services as described in their listings. This includes providing qualified guides, maintaining safari equipment, and ensuring safari complies with the standards outlined by Safari Marketplace.
6.2 If a partner fails to deliver the promised services, the Vendor will be liable for any refund requested by customer. Poor service delivery will lead to vendor being removed from platform
6.3 Vendors must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and licenses required to operate safari tours in Botswana or other relevant jurisdictions.
7. Operator Liability
7.1 Tour Operators are fully responsible for customer care during the tour. Any incidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the safari are the sole responsibility of the vendor.
7.2 Safari Marketplace is not liable for any accidents, losses, or damages that occur during a vendor’s safari tour. You must have appropriate insurance coverage in place to protect yourself and your customers.
7.3 You must ensure that all vehicles, equipment, and accommodations meet safety standards and are properly maintained.
8. Reviews and Feedback
8.1 Customers have the right to leave reviews and feedback for services booked through Safari Marketplace. These reviews help other travelers make informed decisions and contribute to building trust on the platform.
8.2 Partners must not manipulate or attempt to influence customer reviews. Any fraudulent activities, such as creating fake reviews or paying customers for positive feedback, will result in immediate suspension.
8.3 Partners are encouraged to respond to customer reviews in a professional manner, especially when addressing concerns or negative feedback.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Any disputes between vendors and customers should be resolved directly between the parties. Safari Marketplace may assist in mediating disputes but is not responsible for resolving them.
9.2 Partners must provide clear contact information and customer service support to handle any issues or disputes that arise during the booking or safari process.
10. Partner Termination
10.1 Vendors can terminate their participation on the platform at any time by providing written notice. Any pending bookings must be honored, or alternative arrangements made with the customer before account termination.
10.2 Safari Marketplace reserves the right to terminate a vendor’s account for any breaches of these terms or failure to deliver quality service.
10.3 Upon termination, all listings will be removed from the platform, and any outstanding payments will be processed in accordance with our payout schedule.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Botswana. Any legal disputes between vendors and Safari Marketplace will be resolved in the courts of Botswana.
By listing your safari tours on Safari Marketplace, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, and you agree to comply with them.
